Yesterday we watched a short film on bullying . Bullying is some thing that takes place every day whether its at home, school, or work.  In this case It was taking place in the school ,where us as students have the right to come to school , learn and be protected and not hurt , tortured or embarrassed. In my opinion no one thats innocent as he should be treated that way .

This link above can lead you tight to another story about girls and boys that end their lives because of being bullied at school.There are so many victims of being bullied in the world , I was bullied once, and it wasnt a good feeling of course I dont remember how I dealt with it but all I know is that it ended. There are a couple reasons that people can deal with bullying and this article tells you all about it.

In the book twisted the main character Tyler, was as tall, strong guy with a bad reputation. He was givin this reputation from the graffiti he made on the school. But tyler wasn't always like that, at first he was a scruny nerd who always got picked on and beat up. Had a pretty mean dad who always stayed busy with work, and a mother who always stayed drunk. He only had one friend who he called yoda; because of his star wars fascination. Throughout this book Tyler goes through a very big change, because of some conflict he comes across.
After Tyler gets in trouble for the graffiti he does he has to do some community service and has to check in with a probation officer. He works doing hard labor for some time during the summer which gave him a build. When he goes back to school everyone looks at tyler differently not seeing that little scruny nerd anymore. Which catches the attraction of the most popular girl at the school bethany milbury. Who he has been liking for some time.

This repersents how tyler thinks about suicide sometimes. The quote was, "The Idea would sneak in and BOOM i was off." He thinks about suicide sometimes because he feels like his life is very difficult, but really he's living a pretty much usual teenage life other than his mean father. Who is always busy and never home. But when he is home he's doing more work and doesn't pay attention to his family. Or he doesn't really show them that much affection or love.

Twisted Sexual Harassment Blog #2

So in this book Twisted the issue of sexual harassment came up at Tylers high school. An yes i do feel like sexual harassment can go both ways in my opinion for several reasons. Like if these girls are purposly dressing half naked they must want to dress like that for someone to look at them. But when the guys looked at them they got attittudes so i feel like they were purposly doing this to the guys. An i also feel like there really just advertising themselves.
So in my opinion yes sexual harassment can go both ways. I feel like the definition of sexual harassment can be stretched to fit this situation with the girls dressing loosly. Just because there not touching on them doesn't mean it isn't sexual harassment. I feel like there sexualy harassing the men eyes because they know what there doing.

       Cyberbullying is a very offensive and hurtful thing to the person being targeted. An can leave some kids emotinally scared. But in this report they say that children are not always the target of these cyberbullies. A couple of the basketball players made a fake myspace page about their coach, and disrespected him and his family. I believe that this act was very wrong an if they had a problem with their coach they could have approached it in a diffrent more positive way.
        There are other instances were people make profile about the person an make it seem like the person created the profile thereself. Like at Classical High School two top students made a fake profile about this girl. They had posted insulting statements and rumors about the girl making it seem like she wrote it herself. In my opinion that was a terrible thing to do. This girl probaly is being tormented and made fun of at school for these hurtful things.

Studying Success

Yes i believe if you study hard an do well in school you will have a bright future. Because then you can go to a good college an get a great job that pays well. Not only will you have money an materials you will have the greatest gift of school, the knowledge you learn that you can never lose. So yes i believe working hard in your studies will pay off an is a great future predicter of success.
